You can believe fiction, or you can believe what God tells all mankind in His word. "He" is "The Creator" of all things seen and unseen. You one day will find out to your utter dismay I am sorry to say. I thought I may have misunderstood you in an earlier article about God, but now I see that I did not.

To say that evolution is correct or to say that creation is correct is as they say, a leap of faith indeed. Now take for example Josh McDowell or C.S.Lewis both of these men were athiest but went on a search for truth trying to prove false the evidence on both sides of the isle and they both ended up believing in the biblical account.
I encourage you to try to prove the Bible false just as you do with many other subjects.

The bible is such rubbish... sure it's fun to believe in fairy tales when you are little, but it's time to grow up. If there is a God he gave up long ago. If a forest fire destroys an African village, are you saying that God is at work in eliminating sin? The evils in this world are ours, and ONLY ours, to stop. I don’t agree with fundamentalist explanations for evolution nor with their simplistic and literalist understanding of 6 days of creation. (If the Sun, by which we measure days, was created on the 4th day, then, obviously, the “Six” days of creation cannot be taken literally.)
But I do know (i.e., conclude from purely philosophical demonstrative argument) that God exists. St. Thomas Aquinas (in the beginning of his Summa Theologiae) provides Five Proofs for the existence of God.
He also presents (in His Summa Gentiles - which is specifically addressed to non-believers) his First Proof for the existence of God. He argues FROM the existence of motion (and mobile being), which we can see, TO the existence of a Prime Mover, Whom we cannot see. Though I doubt you’d be able to follow his argument if you haven’t read (that ancient Greek and pagan philosopher) Aristotle and his treatises on Logic and Physics (which examines mobile being).
But the fifth proof for the existence of God (which St. Thomas presents in the Summa Theologiae) is probably the easiest to follow, argues FROM the existence of intelligent design TO the existence of an Intelligent Designer.
More and more honest scientists are beginning to acknowledge that intelligent design is the only rational explanation for the origin of the cosmos. Some scientists argue that Intelligent Design contemplates evolution; while other scientists argue that it merely includes adaptational changes of species within the species form. There is room for debate.
But to believe in Evolution (especially evolutionary theories blatantly derived from atheism and racial bigotry [the original sub-title of Darwin’s book reveals as much]), is irrational. It is irrational to think that the order and beauty we see about us is derived and caused by the happen-chance of atoms colliding with each other. It is irrational to believe that atoms are the ultimate principles.
Zeitgeist is a donkey's movie. No science, no scholarly research, no documentation - just assertion after assertion (most of which are lies) and the sum of which reflects a mosaic of superstitious babble. The closest it gets to philosophical coherency is its “Hegelian/Marxist philosophy” or “Process Theology”. Do your really believe (as that movie asserts) that the world is about to enter a fourth stage of evolutionary development? The ideas in that movie are not new. Just hackneyed . . . and stupid - to those who are truly educated. (Although I do like the movie’s summary - though it is only a summary - of the International Banker’s manipulation of the masses.)
Politically, you may be a libertarian. But theologically and philosophically you are a Hegelian and Marxist. If you don’t think you are, or if you haven’t read these authors, then you really need to go back to school. (But don’t start with the post-christian pagans; start with the pre-christian pagans, i.e. the Greeks: Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates.)
In the very least, you should stick to commenting on politics and political theory for which you show some competence. (And forget about running for office. If, by some miracle, you are able to get elected, I sincerely doubt that you'd be able to accomplish anything.)

Well, let me give you a little help in "disproving the bible." First, let me state that I do NOT believe that one species "evolves" into another species or we'd be seeing signs of it. I believe we were intelligently designed. I also do not believe anything written in the bible is "the word of God," as it was all written by Jewish men who then told us this is "the word of God."
First of all, if you cannot read Hebrew, then you will have no idea WHAT the bible actually says, because it is completely mistranslated into English. Back when I used to be of the Jewish "faith," I was sent to Hebrew school by my rabbi, where I learned to read and write Hebrew. I can tell you that there are over 2000 statements in the old testament that you have been led to believe are comments (written by men) attributed to "God," when in fact the Hebrew word used is "gods." Again and again. Plural.

Please explain which of the gods stated this. Please don't tell me that it was Yahweh, who does not show up until Genesis 2 after everything has already been created by the other gods. The Hebrew verbs used by the Yahweh gods (plural again) are different. The Yahweh gods then put the squeeze on what had been created, and worked mankind.
I have to laugh. Mr. Yannone is obviously trying to show how 2 idiots , while on the clock mind you, are TELLING children that God is the ONLY answer. It is child abuse of the mind. Please look up the word abuse, it doesn't necessarily have to be physical to be abuse. I take personal emotion to this video because i'm a Colorado native and have been to this museum many times ever since I could remember. My parents are conservative Christians and they would have NEVER allowed me to go on a tour/field trip if this dog and pony show was going on when I was in grammar school. My parents, of course, wanted me to follow their beliefs, but they also understood that I was an individual. Museums are not churches/places or worship. Take care.

Well, Tricia, you have only to go back to my original post (the paragraph above the first video) and you can see clearly that my comments have nothing to do with religion or the bible or god or a guy name Jesus. Later as I was asked to "prove the bible false," I gave examples of biblical stupidity of biblical proportions provided by others. But I have no ax to grind with the lunatic book. Read it, enjoy it, use it for kindling, pray to it, whatever you like. It's none of my business what you do with it, as long as you don't prey on children and try to fill their heads with that repulsive nonsense.
Many of the "gods" are not mentioned by name. Some are, but the ridiculous "god the father, god the son, and god the holy spirit" is not mentioned in the Old Testament at all. This was the invented dogma of Constantine's "catholic" church, which did not come about until after 300 A.D.
