Joe AbodeelyArizona JAG officer wants Bush tried for war crimes

by Mark Yannone

From the KPHX radio station in Phoenix, Arizona, Colonel Joe Abodeely told his worldwide radio audience on Saturday exactly how and why he expects George W. Bush to be prosecuted for the war crimes he committed as president of the United States. Drawing on his considerable expertise in criminal law and his accomplished military career, Colonel Joe helped those of us who want the Bush crime family held accountable to see the distinct possibility on the horizon. Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley comments on George Bush's war crimes and this "ignoble moment" where the United States could be forced by the international community to enforce our own laws and prosecute those who are responsible for torture.

Law School Conference Will Plan Bush War Crimes Prosecution

The Massachusetts School of Law at Andover may be a good place to study law, but, come September, MSL will also be a place to plan for the prosecution and conviction of the war criminals in the Bush administration.

The dean, Lawrence Velvel, says in a statement that "plans will be laid and necessary organizational structures set up to pursue the guilty as long as necessary and, if need be, to the ends of the Earth."

Velvel added, "We must insist on appropriate punishments, including, if guilt is found, the hangings visited upon top German and Japanese war criminals in the 1940s." [Full story]

This just can't happen soon enough. Glad to see (though may be just an illusion) that Pelosi seems to be awakening - impeachment may not be quite "on" the table yet but it does appear to be crouching under the table.

What don't these people get about how they've shirked their Constitutional duties? I think every one of them (well, maybe a handful could stay) ought to be voted out of office once and for all and maybe THEN we'd have a chance to begin to repair the wreck W. has made our country.

Impeachment is the only road to take to regain our moral authority in the world's eyes. Let's keeps our fingers crossed.

When I watch CNN about what is hapening in IRAQ today I can't seem to who the real threat to the world really is.
I find the Bush Adminstration being a much bigger threat than Sudam Husain, or Osama Bin Ladin together. The Bush Adminstration is nothing more that a Terorist orginization that is determined to destroy any government or groupe of people that stand in their way. He does all this in the name of Democracy. He has totaly destroyed the whole view of what Democracy is today.

Remember it takes a village to create a community as one presidential hopeful stated in her book. Unfortunately, it also takes a village to create an ambience of terror as we have experienced in the past through Nazi Germany. Rather than sacrificing one individual as an escape goat, a sovereign country should view her own reflection in the mirror and question how her xenophobia permitted questionable acts to occur under her watch. In other words, if misdeeds did occur in one's country; then it is the fault of many leaders, its federal employees, and the citizens themselves. The silence of these stakeholders can be seen as a form of consent and consequently people should admit and recognize how everyone contributed to any wrongdoing if any did occur. Reasonable people should not try to find escapegoats but should also admit how they too contributed to the problem; and consequently, they can try to work together to find solutions.
